The Body Positive – Research-backed solutions
The Body Positive was founded in 1996 with the goal of teaching students and adults around the world body confidence and positive self-care behaviours.
Be Body Positive programmes are taught in 200 secondary schools and universities and have helped more than 1.1 million people in 28 countries heal from body shame and eating disorders.
Clinical studies show that the Be Body Positive model increases self-compassion, reduces anxiety and depression, and promotes a more positive relationship with body image, food, and exercise.
