Maybe you don't need to rewrite your story

I’ve been wondering lately...

why are we so tempted to downplay, destroy, or abandon everything we’ve built so far and start all over again from scratch?

What if we decided, once and for all, to improve instead of constantly changing our story, our careers, our lives?

Maybe you don’t need to rewrite your story. Maybe you only need to honour what has already happened and brought you here, to the point where you are right now. Be grateful for the mistakes that were nothing more than opportunities to learn, to understand yourself better, to clarify your preferences. And then simply begin to assess what can still work from now on, and what needs to be let go or improved.

Applying this exercise to your whole life might feel overwhelming or even scary, but I’ve learned on my own skin that personal style can become an empowering, fun, and creative starting point in the process of building self‑confidence, self‑love, appreciation, and even celebration of your body, personality traits, and skills. A simple shift on this level can generate an incredible desire and determination to bring novelty, creativity, colour, and growth to all the other areas of your life.

Once you start loving your body and the person you’ve become, you feel ready to raise your standards, to receive the good in life with open arms because you finally feel you deserve it, and to find the courage to step out of your comfort zone like you haven’t in a long time.

So tell me…

  • how could you improve your personal image and style right away?

  • what would you wear if you felt like you already were better, thinner, more successful, etc.?

  • what would your improved style look like?

  • what would your personal story look like?
